Create Sequence For Yoga Practice
Holidays is coming soon and from the previous holidays you have noticed that you your practice starts to fall out of the wagon. Familiar with the situation? That hard to find the studio nearby and do not know how to start your move on the mat? Not only that, even there are any number of reasons to not be able to get to group classes: business trips, family commitments, fatigue, or just general busyness! You would probably need some inspiration to start your own practice and mastering it. But, where to start?
This workshop will help you understand the concept of a home yoga practice and how to build it. We will cover the concepts and theories behind creating safe and effective sequences that you can continue to explore in the comfort of your own home.
This workshop also probably help for new teachers that just graduated from their 200hr TT and want to explore more possibilities to build sequence in their classes.
WHAT TO WEAR
-Comfortable clothes that don't restrict movement
-This class will be practiced barefoot
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
-Mat or towel (there are no mats available to borrow in the spaces)
- Note book
- Water Bottle + pen
- Yoga props - blocks, straps, cushions, etc (optional)

Have been wondering how to stand up on your head? This headstand pose or Sirsana is popular among the yoga asana world. Everybody seems attract to able to do it. This ‘trend’ is not really a wonder. The headstand has a status of ‘The King of Yoga Asanas’, as a King it is indeed attracts the yoga asanas practitioner to master it. It’s a challenge posture, not only physically but most of it, mentally challenging.
In some yoga schools or lineage, headstand could come first at the beginning of the practice and other school puts it at the end of the practice. We will put it in our discussion to find the benefits of the posture and other discussion to practice safely.
We will learn the detail components of this posture, preparation, learning modifications and
finally get into the posture.
